The Supply Room’s commitment to service excellence extends far beyond the walls of our warehouse. The Supply Room strives to make a difference in the communities we serve through sustainability, as well as partnerships with community, educational, and trade organizations.
Launching in late 2025, the VA Lottery and The Supply Room have teamed up to present the first-ever Teacher’s Lounge makeover. A $7,500 community investment in our local schools. The contest was open for nominations from September 8th to October 3rd, inviting anyone to suggest a Virginia public K-12 school in need of a refresh. The winning school was selected through a random drawing.
We want to congratulate Suburban Park Elementary School in Norfolk, VA! We’re excited to support this deserving school and its hardworking educators.
The makeover process has already begun, with plans to unveil the new and improved lounge by Spring. Our design team is already hard at work, collaborating closely with staff to ensure the space meets their needs. From a functional space to vibrant décor, every detail is being thoughtfully considered to create a welcoming and inspiring environment.
Stay tuned and follow along as the transformation unfolds. Connect wtih us on social media for sneak peaks, behind-the-scenes, and much more!

The Virginia Lottery hosts an annual Thank a Teacher Art Campaign, inviting all K-12 students in Virginia the chance to participate. Students can submit their artwork for a chance to win a $200 gift card for themselves, while their school will recieve $2,000 worth of art supplies from The Supply Room!
Since 2005, The Supply Room has been a partner and sponsor with the Special Olympics. Throughout the years, The Supply Room has actively volunteered at the Special Olympics Summer Games and participated in their Day of Giving fundraiser.
Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Through these opportunities, participants build physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and develop meaningful friendships with their families, fellow athletes, and the broader community.
Each year, The Supply Room donates pre-filled backpacks filled with essential school supplies to a local K–12 school; an initiative that reflects our ongoing commitment to education and the bright futures of our youth.
We have recently partnered with the University of Richmond to bring this effort to life in an even more meaningful way. Their mascot and student-athletes join us in distributing the backpacks, creating a fun and memorable experience for students. This collaboration not only helps equip students with the tools they need to succeed but also inspires them by connecting them with positive role models from the university.
We look forward to watching these students grow, thrive, and make a lasting impact in our community.
